We will do our best to ensure that everyone has good experiences, but we have some challenges with sanitary facilities, the kiosk and cabins. About us

One of the special features of Osensjøen Camping is our location down to Osensjøen (lake) with one of the inland’s finest and longest sandy beach at 1 km. The campsite is surrounded by nature on all sides with pine forests. The terrain around Osensjøen Camping is relatively flat and has a light terrain to travel in. In winter we have good stable winter conditions with snow and cold temperatures. Our guests appreciate the recreation, peace and quietness of the campsite and the tranquility of nature. The campsite is also a good starting point for small and large excursions on foot, by bike or by car. If you want recreation with peace and quietness or be active in nature, you are warmly welcome to good experiences in holiday and leisure with us!

Your hosts

We are Edwin and Wilma Jobing, originally from the Netherlands, and we own and run the campsite from 2007. Both love to travel and have traveled around with tent, caravan, motorhome and by plane. After a sabbatical in 2002/2003 where we traveled 10 months around Australia, it was not easy to get used to the hectic of The Netherlands again. When we found the campsite here in Osen we knew that this was the place we wanted to live and work. Never before have we lived so long in the same place and that means that we thrives in these peaceful and quiet surroundings.

Edwin works in the winter at Trysilfjellet as a skipatrol. Wilma works in Klinikk Topp to Tå at the campsite all year round, plus in addition at the Spa at Radisson Mountain Resort in Trysil in the winter.
